LEARN ABOUT VALLEY FORGE’S HISTORY

Valley Forge’s history is like no other! It features countless historical sites including Pottsgrove Manor (a mansion that dates back to 1752), Pennypacker Mills (a mansion that George Washington used during the American Revolutionary War) and Peter Wentz Farmstead (a farmhouse that George Washington used to draw up plans for the Battle of Germantown). As you and your family travel through Valley Forge, learn all about how important it is to history!

BOOK A TEE TIME

Valley Forge has over 50 golf courses available for golf lovers to enjoy all weekend long!

There are 20 public golf courses that allow anyone to book a tee time with your friends or alone if you prefer to have some “me” time. There are also private courses that are some of the most historic courses in United States history. Though a membership is needed for these courses, it is well worth the purchase! And once you’re done golfing, you can enjoy a nice lunch or dinner, whichever you prefer.

ENJOY A NIGHT OUT AT VALLEY FORGE CASINO RESORT

Feel like a night out? Look no further than Valley Forge’s very own casino!

The Valley Forge Casino Resort allows you to try your luck at 800 slot machines and 50 table games. There is blackjack, poker and so much more! And if you feel like a drink and dinner, the casino has the famous Revolution Chop House on site.

If you’re looking for something aside from the slots and tables, the casino also offers comedy and music festivals at The Venue. GO BIRDWATCHING AT JOHN JAMES AUDUBON CENTER

Experience the history and natural beauty of Valley Forge at John James Audubon Center. Originally the first home in America of the country’s most famed ornithologist, this 18,000 square-foot visitor center offers an art gallery, a bird conservation center, an on-site museum, a theater, and outdoor features like their Fledgeling Trail, an interactive exhibit that allows visitors to experience the early stages of a bird’s life.

GET A TASTE OF VALLEY FORGE

Starting Tuesday, May 10th, King of Prussia is bringing food and live music together for Food Truck Tuesdays! Yes, you read that right. FOOD + MUSIC!

Every Tuesday through July 26th, there will be three different types of food trucks serving the best of the best foods in areas around King of Prussia. That includes tacos from Korea Taqueria, BBQ ribs from Southbound BBQ, lobster rolls from Surf and Turf Food Truck and so much more. Plus, while you’re enjoying your delicious lunch you can check out live music from artists like Rubber Music, Ryan Tennis, Judah Kim and more. Talk about the perfect lunch!

With so many options to choose from, you’re most likely going to want to go to Food Truck Tuesdays more than once!

You can catch the food trucks and the live music from 11:30am to 1:30pm every Tuesday.
