Valley Forge National Historical Park

Valley Forge National Historical Park is the site of the famous Continental Army encampment during the Revolutionary War where George Washington and troops hunkered down to survive a harsh winter and regain their strength. Currently the National History Park preserves over 3,500 acres of the original camp with restored historic building and reconstructions. The park has 26 miles of hiking trails and frequent historical reenactments, so no matter your preferred speed, there is something for everyone.
